Setting up an aquaponics farm necessitates careful consideration of location, ensuring adequate water supply for waste removal and ammonia control—an essential aspect for maintaining optimal water quality crucial for fish health and productivity.

In the Indian context, aquaponics initiatives often receive support from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), fisherman societies, and local fish farmers, reflecting a growing awareness and interest in sustainable farming practices.

Aquaponics holds immense potential to transform India’s agricultural landscape, offering a resilient and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional farming methods.
