Sathyabama Research Park invites you to participate in the “Hands-On Training for Synthesis of Nanomaterials and their Basic Characterization” scheduled to take place from September 23-27, 2024, organized by the Sathyabama Research Park, Centre for Ocean Research, in collaboration with the Earth Sciences and Technology Cell, Ministry of Earth Sciences.
Workshop Overview
This workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of nanomaterial synthesis and basic characterization techniques. Participants will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge methods of fabricating nanomaterials and analyzing their properties. Key areas of focus include:
- Nanomaterial Synthesis: Practical sessions on creating various nanomaterials such as nanoparticles, nanowires, and quantum dots.
- Characterization Techniques: Training on essential characterization tools like Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and more.
- Applications: Insight into the wide-ranging applications of nanomaterials in fields like medicine, electronics, energy, and environmental science.
