This program provides a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies using the Ion Torrent platform. It covers library preparation, sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis tailored for various applications like metagenomics, mitogenomics, microbial genome sequencing, and more.

Objectives
- Equip participants with skills for high-throughput sequencing and downstream data analysis.
- Enable ST category Ph.D. students to utilize advanced NGS techniques for research and career development.
- Enhance knowledge on genome organization, SNP discovery, and phylogenomics.

Eligibility
- Open to Ph.D. students belonging to the ST category.
Travel and Accommodation
- Travel: To-and-fro train fare (Sleeper III Tier) by the shortest route. Air travel difference to be borne by participants.
- Accommodation: Free lodging and boarding will be provided during the training.
