Parshottam Rupala, the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying in India, declared the extension of the Kisan Credit Card scheme to encompass fishermen. Rupala underscored the significance of this expansion, highlighting the collaborative efforts with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Together, they have developed an innovative instrument aimed at precisely identifying the location of fishermen. This tool not only enhances operational efficiency but also facilitates seamless communication with shore-based personnel.
