Matsya Sampada Jagrukta Abhiyan Yojana Launch Set for February 20

The College of Mangalore together with the National Fisheries Development Board has organized a special one-day workshop scheduled for Tuesday, February 20. It is about creating awareness about the Matsya Sampada Jagruti Abhiyan Yojana. The place of the event will be at the college campus in Yekkur, and around 500 people from the region are expected to attend.

Anjaneyappa, who is the Dean of the College of Fisheries, spoke to the media on Saturday. He mentioned that under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana whopping ₹20,050 crores have been invested in the fisheries industry alone. This scheme offers exceptional opportunities for people to start fish farming.

The one-day workshop will be very interactive. There will be a dialogue between fish farmers and some great scientists. They’ll be covering everything about fish farming and cutting-edge technologies. They will also be sharing success stories among other fish farmers and exchanging their experiences.
