NFDB Internship Programme 2024 25 opportunity for Graduates and Post Graduates

The National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), under the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, announces its Internship Programme for the year 2024-25. This programme offers opportunities for completed Graduates and Post Graduates to intern at the NFDB Headquarters in Hyderabad.

Period of Internship and Number of Interns Engaged:

  • Three Months Internship – 04 positions
  • Six Months Internship – 06 positions
  • Twelve Months Internship – 05 positions
  • Method of Selection: Merit based selection process.

Eligibility Criteria (For Indian Citizens):

  • Applicants must be bonafide students of any recognized University/Institution within India.
  • Citizenship of India is mandatory.
  • Completion of Graduation/Post Graduation as specified in the detailed advertisement.

Stipend during the Internship:

  • Three months: Rs 9000/ per month
  • Six months: Rs. 12,000/ per month
  • Twelve months: Rs 15,000/ per month

Topics for Internship:

Tasks under PMMSY/FMPIS/Institutional Projects/ERC/NERC activities and other NFDB Projects/activities.

Various areas including project appraisal, training, capacity building, programme monitoring, entrepreneurship development, etc.

Applicants are advised to submit a single application specifying one location and one duration for the internship program as per eligibility. Multiple applications for different locations or durations will be automatically rejected.
