ICAR-CIFT, Cochin invites eligible candidates to participate in a walk-in-interview for the temporary position of Young Professional-I (01 No.) in the Fish Processing Division. This position is on a contractual basis initially for 01 years, with the possibility of extension up to 03 years based on yearly evaluation.

Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Essential Qualification: Post graduation (MSc) in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ Fish Processing Technology/ Industrial Fisheries Technology
Desirable Qualification: Analytical/ working experience in the preparation of chemicals and reagents and handling of laboratory equipment
Age Limit: Candidates should be above 21 years and maximum of 45 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation as per rules.
Terms & Conditions:
- Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 10:00 a.m.
- Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
- Candidates should possess 1st class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA.
- Detailed bio-data along with attested copies of all relevant certificates must be submitted. Original certificates shall be produced for verification.
- Provisional Certificate in r/o. Graduation/ Professional Courses are mandatory.
- Selected candidates will be recruited on a contract basis under ICAR norms.
- Fulfillment of all eligibility conditions is mandatory for candidates attending the interview.
- Candidates already employed should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
