The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) is seeking talented, innovative, and dynamic professionals for the position of Young Professionals on a contractual basis. Details regarding the available positions and the required qualifications are provided below:

POSITION: Young Professionals – I
NUMBER OF VACANCIES: 15
METHOD OF ENGAGEMENT: Contractual basis through Open Market
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 27 Years (As on 30.09.2024)
(Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC categories as per Government of India Rules)
CONTRACT PERIOD: Initially one year, extendable up to three years based on performance evaluation.
REMUNERATION: ₹40,000/- per month (inclusive of all taxes, with no additional allowances or facilities).
SELECTION PROCEDURE:

• MPEDA will scrutinize applications and shortlist candidates based on merit.
• Shortlisted candidates will undergo a test cum interview (80% weightage for written test and 20% for interview).
• The decision of the Competent Authority on the selection will be final.
  PLACE OF WORK: MPEDA Head Office, Kochi, or other MPEDA offices as needed.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & VACANCIES:

1. Fisheries: Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science/Aquaculture with specialization in respective fields from a recognized university. (8 vacancies)
2. General Management: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent from an institution with NIRF ranking up to 100 in the Management category. (1 vacancy)
3. Data Science: Tech in Computer Engineering or any discipline with a certification in Data Science, or Master’s in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Computational Mathematics. (2 vacancies)
4. Economics: Master’s Degree in Economics. (1 vacancy)
5. Public Policy: Master’s Degree in Public Policy. (1 vacancy)
6. Communication & Publicity: Master’s Degree in Mass Communication. (1 vacancy)
7. Statistics: Master’s Degree in Statistics. (1 vacancy)
