Beginning his journey as a Fisheries Scientist at the Central Agricultural Research Institute in Port Blair, Dr. George made remarkable contributions in Fisheries Resources Management, particularly in the realms of Potential Fishing Zones (PFZ), Coastal Zone Management, and Ecological studies.
Dr. George’s academic pursuits led him to Goa University, where he earned his Ph.D. in Oceanography under the esteemed guidance of the faculty at the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa. His profound work in this field has laid a solid foundation for his subsequent endeavors at CMFRI, Kochi.
